Former Lightheaviweight champion roy Jones Jr.Is back into training.He's says that I have started getting back into shape to get back where I once was.People have been telling me"Roy you don't need to get back into the ring.You have nothing else to prove.He said he knows people don't believe that he can become champion again eversense that brutal ko from Antonio Tarver.He also said he not going to give up.I'm not going to be no Mike Tyson and say "I quit" on the stool.I'm not no Mike Tyson.I'm Roy Jones Jr.

He is right in what he is saying, and Mike Tyson should take this into account.

I'm excited in seeing Jones come back, when he was on point, he was on point!

As for the Tyson statement, it's apples and oranges. Tysons "I quit" was an exhale of 20 years of triumph, tragedy, deceit, negativity, and misfortune. Tyson's "I quit" wasnt because he got cold clocked his last two fights and said 'oh well'. The resiliance Mike has shown is incredible. As someone stated, Mike Tyson is just lucky to be alive right now, and I agree with that. But boxing is alot of talk now a days so I guess its stcks and stones.

One thing I do agree with Roy is: "I'm not no Mike Tyson. I'm Roy Jones Jr."

*Censor* straight Roy, you ain't no Mike Tyson.

I think Roy wil have trouble coming back once you lose the desire and the hunger its hard to get it back, I do think that both Mike and Roy in twenty years time wil be judged like Holmes is now ,they will both be considered all time greats, as they were bith exceptional fighters.

i agree with that to, when a fighter loses that hunger he will not fight the same, but i wish roy the best.....hes a great fighter

That's true. He seems to have Ali's speed, stamina, footwork and timing. Unfortunately he also has Ali's flaws; spotty defensive work, terrible fundamentals and power punches that leave him wide open to sharp counters. Too bad he doens't have Ali's chin or his "take on all comers" attitude.
