IBF Jr Welterwight Champion Kostya Tszyu has not answered the bell for round 12 against Ricky Hatton.Being an Aussie im totally devastated.I watched the fight and i honestly believe Hatton should have been DQ for hittin Tszyu right in the nuts in round 9.Tszyu should never have fought Hatton in england, not only were the commentators Bias but the referee(who is english)allowed Hatton to hit Tszyu at the back of the head all night long.A disgraceful show of sportmanship by Hatton, and there is no way Tszyu will just accept this defeat,he will be back in a rematch to show the world that even at 35 he is still the best Jr Welterwight out there.

Hatton won fair and square. He was the better man and beat the champion. Stop trying to find excuses. At the end of the match, even Tszyu told Hatton that he was better that night. Period. |

would be a good fight not a great fight imo (hatton vs Harris) i couldnt really see harris lasting more than 6 rounds against hatton. one thing u have to remember is tszyu was a great champion and definatly one of the best p4p out there at the moment but even he couldnt keep up with ricky's constant work rate.
i would like to see hatton have a rematch with tszyu next in a differant country then when hatton wins that one there can be no excuses |

Saw an interview with Hatton the day after he looked a mess can only wonder what Tszyu looked like would like to see a rematch maybe Tyszu can change his tactics a little and pull it out, I don't know, this fight was two top men in a war, great stuff. |

Ricky Hatton and Junior Witter were supposed to fight a couple of years ago, infact after a public outcry Hatton said the fight was written in to his contract but nothing ever materialized. Witter even asked Hatton face to face on tv after he had won his bout, when Witter was comentating and Hatton ummed and aahed before saying its down to Frank Warren.
It may well be, after all if you had a massively popular fighter, you want him to keep winning. Witter would not stand in front of Hatton to be hit like Tszyu and I think he also hits harder, Tszyu used N'dou as a sparring partner and I havent read about N'dou being dropped in sparring v Tszyu |
