Tyson vs Jones Jr is a joke! Tarver knocked Jones out, clean and clear. Tyson hits10 times as hard as Tarver, i wouldnt pay more than 15 bucks to see this, the outcome is simple and very predictable!
Tyson will KO Jones Jr in Round 1....to be honest i never thought Jones was that great of a fighter, he never fought anyone up to his level and once he did (Tarver) he gets knocked out, what a shame, Tyson will murder Jones, unless Jones Jr takes off running when the bell rings. (Tyson might catch him bcuz i dont think Jones' legs are 1000% yet from that blow from Tarver) |

I do not think it was a lucky punch, he landed a lot of shots like that in the first fight...well now that i think about it, i would 30 but not 50, i'll wait til i hear about the 1st rd ko on ESPN...i definetly expect Tyson to KO him in the first...look i kno Tyson is nothing like he used to be but if Tarver could land a shot like that, Tyson will will land one or two even harder so i dont think Jones can take Tyson. |

see cooley your already going up in your price u went from 15 to 30 in 2 days , and i never said roy could beat tyson i dont think he can i mean tyson is not the same fighter but still is the most dangerous. i posted that i would pay 50 to see this fight not that roy can beat mike pesonally the only fighter i think that has a chance is toney he has the jaw to take mikes punch + has the power + stanima to hang with him im not sayin toney will win but i give a chance. let me know whn you'll pay that 50, i still think tha tarver landed a very fortunate puch |

Now you're talkin..Tyson-Toney..i would pay 50 for that but not for Tyson-Jones Jr...i think i'll stick with my 30 dollars but for Tyson-Toney i'll pay up to $60...to be honest, i dont think anyone the chin to take Tyson's punch...but if anyone can it'll be Toney, (or Wladimir Klitshcko) LOL, anyway, after Tyson KO's McBride, i hope he Ko's Mesi, then a shot at Lamon Brewster or John Ruiz! then defend against Tarver.... |

I always said Tyson would knock Jones into next week. Jones doing that posture in the corner he always does...? Please!!! Can anybody say Ibeabuchi-Byrd?!?
I couldn't believe a lot of boxing press and media were picking Jones to win. This was their anti-Mike sentiment coming through, or their belief that Mike was completely, totally that washed up. I told everyone that Mike would murder Jones. Jones could run, but eventually he would have to slow down....it's like trying to outswim a shark in a swimming pool. You might be Michael Phelps, but sooner or later that Great White is gonna get that a**!!!
You notice how after Tarver and Glenn Johnson, all the talk in the media about Jones-Tyson was dead.
It was a reality check for them haters & non-believers.
I would've paid it just to see Jones's arrogant, ghetto-a** knocked out.
He used to not be like that back in the day, but he changed BIG TIME after
being on top for a couple o' minutes.
I sure would've paid to see that SuperEgo deflated (1- to see Jones mouth shut & 2- to say I told you the *Censor* so!!! to those who didn't believe and haters who didn't want to believe!) |

I remember the first time it was brought up to MIke. It was in an interview a few years back (mid- 90's), I think in KO or Ring Magazine. Allow me to paraphrase:
"You know, Jones has expressed an interest in fighting you."
Tyson: "I'm sure he'd find it very stimulating."
Jones must've read that cuz' you didn't hear nothin' from him about Tyson afterwards (until he moved up to heavy.) Sh*t that would scare me, too.
It was the perfect sum-up of what a brutal, horrific mismatch it would've been.
Jones didn't want any of that. |

why do people say once roy face someone god "tarver" he got exposed or whatever, let me say this Tarver is not good, he probally a little better than some of roys opponents but not all, Roy woulda KOed Tarver 3 years ago when they were supposed to fight but Tarver lost to Harding. I guess it worked out for Tarver thought cuz Roy would still be undefeated if they fought back then. |
