In Mike's prime Lennox wouldn't have stopped Mike as he was to quick and used to fight tall guys like Lewis
I think Lennox played it smart to give Tyson a chance to fight against hime while Mike told the world that he needed a little more time (and fights) to fight against Lewis. Based on this I think Lennox knew he wouldn't have won against Mike when he was in better shape and had more fighting rhythm
