When Mike Tyson was preparing for a fight he did 2500 sit ups per day with a 20 lbs weight on his lap.

Amazing would you say... but anyone have an idea how many sit ups he did without stopping.....??

I can imagine that when you reach 100 or 150 it's really start to burn...

From what i remember reading that amount (2500) was split over 3 sessions per day. So thats around 833 per session, i am guessing he did around 300 in one go.

i have done 300 before & 80 pushups all the way down & up in 35 seconds & skipping triples & i'm nothing compared to him. but with 20 pound weight wow thats amazing & it doesn't suprise me. i once read he cleaned & jerked 180 kg & thats also amazing considering how loose he was i would never thought he could do that & move that fast . i rekon in jail all he did would have been situps etc who knows but i'm sure he would have done over 2 or 3000 . at the moment kickboxing trainning is gruelling i seen ufc & boxers train & they do nothing compared to guys in thailand but i do crunches or situps based on time 3 mins & 1 min rest .try it its mentally more challenging. fight training is bad 4 the body in the long run . i have to run half hour brfore i start sweating fk

Yeah, i was thinking 300+ shouldnt be a problem for the heavyweight champion of the world! the only difference is that he has the added weight, and does it to total 2500 per day!
