Mike and 2pac were good friends. Tupac gave him support while in prison and vice versa and frequently gave Tyson lyrical shotouts. Mike Tyson was like a Hero to Tupac, he Loved the guy. Mike attended his funeral. From 1995 (when the song was written) - 2005 Mike would enter with Ambitionz az a Ridah to nearly every fight.

Ambitionz as a Ridah is worldy known as Mike Tyson's theme song.

When I play it people are always asking me - "Hey isn't that Mike Tyson's song?"

For Holyfield I Tyson entered with "Toss It Up", another one of Pac's songs from Makaveli after his death.

Tupac was killed leaving the Bruce Seldon fight, one of the nights which he performed Mike's enterance Live.

Let me also add though that the Spinks fight of 88' was a cool enterance.

So was the Lewis fight "What's My Name?" DMX.

Toss It Up- 2pac

Let's Get It On- 2pac, Biggie (and 2 other artists who I dont know)

It's Dark (Intro) - DMX

The only other song I think I'v missed is one Tyson used when he came in against Carl "The Truth" Williams. I heard it but I'm having a hard time finding out what song it was.

that was my favorite entrance. Came out to that tune for the Botha fight, and I've never seen a more intimidating ring entrance. Mike's hype-man, Crocodile, was yelling "guerilla warfare" during the entire entrance. It was hilarious and intense at the same time. Great song, too, very appopriate for the moment.

Road to Glory - 2pac
This was Tyson's entrance for the Bruno 2 fight (which I'm dying.... dying to see). The audio is very well spread and available (although not very clear). 2pac wrote this song for Tyson specifically for the bruno 2 fight. If anyone knows of any Tyson DVD set that includes the entrance for this fight, then please tell me the name of the set and where you got it from Smile

I always thought there was a lyrical reference to Mike in Ambitionz as a Rider:

"Won't get a chance to do me
Like they did my *Censor*, Ty"

I say that because there are at least a half-dozen 2-Pac song where MT is mentioned, and it makes perfect sense in this context (ie, Mike gettin f'ed over in the rape case).

The night of Tupac's fatal shooting:

"Across town, a white Cadillac slips quietly away into the night. "I'm dying, I'm dying," says Tupac as he's being brought into University Medical Center's intensive care unit. He's lost a lot of blood. He undergoes the first of two complicated operations. Afterwards, Tupac's mother, aunt, and friends-including Mike Tyson, Jasmine Guy, and Jesse Jackson-rush to his side."
