Tyson said a cple years ago that he measured himself and that he woz 5'10 but then he's older and u can get a litle smaller as u get older and also from wen u wake u r on average 1inch taller compared to ur height at the end of the day, this is due to ur joints being relaxed from resting then compressing from being on ur feet al day,he very well might hav bn 5'11 and a half at one point |

Tysons height is very nebulous. He used to get listed at 5. 11.5, while the commentators used to say he is 5-10. Many say he is only 5-8 or 5-9. Tyson himself said 5-10 in 2005. I once read he said 5 8.5 in 1988. So, I think he is arround 5 9.5 , nut its not clear. |

muzzo you must know what your talking about good answer he's 5'11 but being big makes you look short i think. commentators allways jealouse of mike & they will even attack his height just to make the greats look alot better |

I met Mike back in 1991 or 1992. There was a press conference for the Alex Stewart fight in the Plaza Hotel in NYC. I met Mike outside the hotel, and stood next to him. I'm 5'-11" and he was my height. That was also 16 years ago. Maybe people do shrink a bit with age, but he was definetly 5'-11" when I stood next to him. |
