WHAT A GOOD FIGHT THIS COULD HAVE BEEN JAMES TONEY VS HOPKINS THEY WERE IN THE SAME ERA DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY THEY DIDN'T FIGHT?

James Toney was too big to make the middleweight limit by the time Hopkins made a name for himself.

I don't think Hopkins vs Wright was a very good clash of styles, they're both very defensively minded.

A Good Match up, but their styles obviously did not have a good "Entertainment Value" but that is boxing. It's not about mindless punch throwing, but skill.

what do you mean by mindless punch throwing i'm confused. when fighters promise fireworks they should perform just because someone can brawl does that mean he cannot think was duran a mindless puncher ? especially when fighters fight on ppv, but what do you mean by mindless puncher ?

Fighters like Tyson are skilled when aggressive. Not everyone can throw punches and Combos that can KO opponenets. Fighters like Hopkins and Winky rely on Technical Skills rather than KO Punches. Which is why you don't see haye-makers after every other punch

your right fighters now a days doen't thro as many haye-makers more techinical wich some time's can be fun to wach..
