Calzaghe has rejected a Fight against Kelly Pavlik at SMW.

British Boxers are such a Joke (im From Britain BTW).

He is avoiding a Huge Match with Pavlik and instead wanting to have a "Super-Fight" with Roy Jones Junior...

Im sorry... how is fighting a Passed a Washed-up Champion a Super-Fight. All this hype, it's all a Fraud.

Calzaghe has wasted his Talent and Career. at around 2001 he should have Fought against Tito, Hopkins and RJJ, instead he stuck to SMW as if he was glued there.

The problem with Calzaghe is basically Frank Warren. Frank Warren's mantra is low risk, high reward. Calzaghe doesn't have to duck fighter's Warren will do it for him. You cannot go down as a all time great if you have only defended the lightly regarded WBO belt. The mandantories he faced were at best averge to awfull, Omar sheika, Mario veit etc. No top american fighter is going to take the risk of coming to England against home town ref's and judges for a lightly regarded belt. He should of vacated that belt a long time ago and fought in America for either of the three major belts WBC/WBA/IBF.

hi, i don't think calzaghe is scared of anyone there's only 1 fighter out there who i think is scared of a fighter & that would be hopkins being scared of roy j. i think calzaghe is very smart & i'm sure that fight will happen but why do it now when there are other opponents for kelly to ko therefore let him & by the time calzaghe beats roy then the anticipation & hype for calzaghe vs pavlik will be even greater. it is too early now for pavlik to lose be patient my friend no ones retiring soon you can bet on that Very Happy

Well the fight is Postpone because Calzaghe is "injured".

Face it, Calzaghe would have NEVER fought Hopkins, RJJ or Tarver back in their Prime, he knew he would be killed. He bats a Passed it 43 year old man and think's he is a legend. Now he wants a passed wahed up RJJ, so he can be called a bigger Legend.

Don't get me wrong, Calzaghe is an excellent fighter, but not even close to a "Legend". He has wasted his career.

If he wants to fight for money, so be it. I would probably do the same thing, not risking my health and just getting the best pay day. but dont go around calling yourself a legend, when you are not.
