i've seen a video interview with mike tyson, when he talkin bout his style and that, but i dont understand the word peakaboo, what does it mean, please explain it 4 me man, bless

ahhh, now i know what it means, i'm kind a newbie in boxing, but i always train with that style, peek-a-boo, my length is 5'10 and my weight is 192 lbs, im stocky, not fat. Very Happy

hay i went and ask,t my coach and he said maybe but it will take ton,s and ton,s of practiss to pull of but win you do you will be one of the best boxer,s out thear styel why,s if any thing but i,am 170 and i can do it

That style is geared for shorter fighters against taller fighters. I spent years trying to fight shorter fighters using a peek a boo style and kept getting DQ'ed for bending forward to much. Im 6'2 and fight alot of shorter men. Ur height is perfect for a peek a boo type. Even Tyson got hit more by shorter fighters then tall ones cause he couldnt get under the punches fast enough. Your a funny guy jim3. I use alot of the side to side movement more then bobing and weaving. I kickbox and box and was using alot of head movement once while kickboxing and got kicked right in the head so im more upright when i kickbox and bob and weave more when just boxing.

thanks i like when some one els can point out my talents you know i,am funny a good boxer any ways i would say doent bob and weav but move your head a lot and if your a tall guy lean back fight from the side use the felly shell styel it wroks good for tall guys trust me i coach littel kids and box pro iam 4and 0 right n ow with2 kos but like i said felly shell.. Razz

I really like the peekaboo style and wanted to use it. At 6'3 175 it doesn't really work, but my trainer helped me and we modified the peekaboo for my height and it really works well.
