I've recently took up boxing, (3 months). But I've already put use to the fist cuffs before taking up the sport. Been sparring for a little bit in the last month. I've been trying to use the peek a boo style because it suits me more(Shorter, and more weight). Im just wondering how do I perfect it, any good things to know when using the peek a boo.

I already know good handspeed, and head movement(slipping/ducking). As well as you keep your hands on the side of your face. With the end of the gloves covering your cheek bones, protecting your chin. But is their anything else to know when using this style.
