Ran into Mike Tyson last April in Las Vegas...

While staying at the Mandalay Bay resort/Casino to attend the Klitschko-Brewster, Spinks-Judah bouts. I was heading to one of the elevators and happend to see Mike walking near by, I walked over and asked him if he I could get a photo with him, he was awesome, shook my hand, let me get a picture with him &everything, I thanked him &shook his hand again, he patted me on the shoulder and said "Your welcome brother".....He's definately a fan friendly guy. I posted a link with the photo Smile

Thats awesome. I would like to meet Mike Tyson. I have always heard about how friendly he is to fans. Cool picture.

Good stuff bro. Did Tyson seem shorter than you expected? I ask because a lot of people say that when they meet him face to face.

I was kinda wondering that myself. You seem a good four inches shorter. I am not sure how tall you are, but Tyson is listed at 5'11". Do you think he is really this tall?

He always looks very muscular on fight night. How stocky does he actually look?

Mike looked to be pretty fit when I met him, he is definately really stocky! Very rugged built guy.

I am 5'6 1/2, I would say Mike is in fact around 5'11 1/2.

My girlfriend knows how big of a Tyson fan I am, and suprised me for my birthday with an everlast glove signed by him, as well as a signed certificate of authenticity, now if I could only go to one of his fights!

I was in total awe, I have met many famous fighters, but this for me was unreal.....it was amazing to stand face to face to him, I couldn't imagine being in the opposite side of the ring as him...I'd run out haha...

honestly man, how on earth can you say mike looked out of shape by that photo? you can't. It must suck to be a celeb and have people say stupid stuff like that about you. I stood right next to him...no belly at all...looked like the same old Tyson to me...nothing at all to indicate he was "out of shape" by any means..
