The new Tyson full fight download this time is: Mike Tyson vs Mike Jameson.
This fight is 100 MB and includes pre-fight introduction, all full
rounds, between round corner talk and the post-fight interview by Mike
Tyson.
Watch how Mike unloads an eight-punch combo with three consecutive
uppercuts.
Hear what kind of problem Mike had coming into this fight, but which he
refuses to use as an excuse and Mikes comments on Marcianos record.
The fight can be downloaded (straight from our server with good speed) by goldmembers in the download section. Non-goldmembers can download the fight here (might be a bit slow since it's from an external server). |

im sorry but i really kinda thought it was a boring fight, and that tyson should have taken him out alot earlier like the 1st or 2nd round.
I give much respect to tyson for fighting in his current condition, that just goes to show how good his endurance was at that time |

Parts of the fight weren't that exciting because Jameson was holding and surviving as he could.
But *Censor*,...fighting every month up to 2 or 3 times a month (Tyson had a fight less than 2 weeks before this fight. He fought 2 times in the month before and fought even 3 times in one month before that). That's an insane hard schedule .
And on top of that he fought this fight in an ill-state but still doesn't complain and wins.
That's what i call iron
Why aren't fighters like this anymore? |

Frank Bruno was a massive guy, Mike Tyson wasnt. Tyson had to overwhelm you to get to you. Bruno had that cannon in his right hand that could end the fight whethere you were 5'10 or 6'8. Tyson has to work his way to victory alot harder than people thought.
I thought it was a good exhibition of skill, power, endurance and agressivness by Tyson. Jameson had no answer. |

Thanks a ton Tysonian/Viper for upping this fight.
It's amazing to think Mike had fought 2 weeks prior and would be fighting 2 weeks after his bout with Jameson, and with bronchitis at that! That leaves possibly 4 days of rest for Mike in a whole month when you include training.
Like he said though, it's his profession, and really all he had in life. Such dedication he had to the sport (whether on his own or influenced by Cus), and amazing stamina to stay sharp after 5 fast paced rounds while carrying an exhausting disease.
He threw some amazing combinations and even took a few good shots himself, but showed great resiliency throughout the whole fight, the multiple uppercut combos definately put a smile on my face.
In my opinion, this just goes to show how a 19 year old Mike Tyson would've handled a McBride or a Lewis. Though Lennox was no doubt leagues above a Mike Jameson, I think the only difference that would have made is maybe a 10th round TKO instead of 5.
Thanks again Admin |
