No, she died in 2001, not sure if Mike went to the funeral or not, seeing as he hadnt been with that team for a few years
He really should have though, seeing as she was his adopted mother
He did go to the funeral IIRC, Ross. He also paid hundreds and thousands of dollars towards her medical bills and nursing home costs. When Tyson went bankrupt and his documents were released onto the internet, it showed Tyson paying many thousands per month on Ewald for her nursing and care costs. Tyson loved that woman dearly. He was just too embarrased to show his face again after the way he left them high and dry in 1988. |

I know that Camille lived to be 96 years old and Mike made sure he always paid the bills for the care home. I'm not sure exactly when she died, but he remained loyal to her up to the end. I have written a piece on my website about him and it mentions that subject. The site is called www.sweetfightingman.com. The link is on the bottom right hand corner of the home page. Check it out. |

Thanks for the kind words. When I get feedback like that, it makes the work all the more worthwhile. |

You can probably tell from my website, boxing is my life, and it was Mike that made me a boxing fan in the first place. He will always have a special place in my heart.
I haven't seen the pulse. What is it and how can I watch it? |

Just looked up the Pulse on the internet. I can imagine the sort of thing that went down. That rape conviction is something that will haunt him for ever. On one of my videos about him, they say that the barrister that defended him had never defended a rape case in his life and had never defended a black person either. They way they tell it, Tyson lost that case before he even walked into the court room. Mike doesn't help himself when he comes out with comments like that, but they're words spoken in abject anger. |

they had located some of the jury & desiree had accused her boyfriend from highschool of rape & that wasn't allowed in court at the time the guy came forward but it was late in the trial & she was portrayed as a virgin thats just one of the things on the show there alot of evidence out there & alot of witnesses the commercial for the pulse will only show tyson saying that bad stuff but that is normal you have to watch the whole thing the jury themselves don't think he did it otherwise he would have gotten 60 yrs. after watching it desiree doesn't make any sense you'll have to watch it to understand what i'm saying . i have allways believed tyson when he talks about a seriouse subject i don't think he has a charactor of a liar but i think people missinterpret him |
