Tyson Quotes

"Don King was laughing, but when he finds out I'm serious, he won't be laughing. I don't want to deal with this bullshit anymore....I had fun. Boxing was good to me, but nothing lasts forever....I decided it's time to move on. It's time to call it a day...."

~ Mike Tyson talking about retirement after winning the Spink fight

Tyson’s 2nd fight after being released from prison was against Buster Mathis Junior. Buster's father Mathis senior was a successful heavyweight who even fought 'the greatest of all times' Muhammad Ali. He lost an unanimous decision but forced Ali at least to go 12 rounds. He also fought 'Smokin Joe' Frazier who knocked Mathis out in 11 to win the world heavyweight title.

His son faced with Mike Tyson another hall of fame fighter. Mathis Jr. entered the ring unbeaten (a fight against 'Big Daddy' Riddick Bowe ended in a no-contest) but in the end he lost the fight as well as his clean record to Tyson.
