Global publisher Player One has announced
that it has secured the license from Codemasters to publish the ‘Mike
Tyson Boxing’ mobile phone java game.

Fully endorsed by the
Iron man of boxing, Mike Tyson Boxing is set to put players in the
ultimate ring side seat, says Player One.

Set for a global release from September this year and compatible
across a broad range of mobile phones, Mike Tyson Boxing will offer
boxing fans the chance to put on the devastating boxing gloves of the
boxing legend himself.

From the training gym to the show-ring, players will jab, punch and
upper cut their way through the rankings in a bid to become the owner
of the World Championship belt!

“Mike Tyson is a sporting icon and we are delighted to be working
with such a world class licence. This is the most innovative boxing
game ever created for mobile and will delight boxing fans worldwide,”
said Pete Russell, managing director for Player One.

Mike Tyson Boxing is just one of a range of licensed titles set for
release which are specifically targeted towards a US audience from
Player One this year. Future releases include Davis Cup Tennis, Las
Vegas Desert Darts and World Pool Championships.
