Mike Tyson News: Mike Tyson at Rahman-Maskaev 2 event
 
NewsOn August 12 Mike Tyson was at ringside as commentator during the Hasim Rahman vs Oleg Maskaev 2 event. Mike was commentating for the international HBO broadcast. Earlier Mike Tyson attended the weigh-in of the fighters.

In an interview by Boxingtalks G. Leon Bob Arum responded on Mikes performance as a commentator:

GL: Can you give us some thoughts on Mike Tyson doing the international commentary last weekend?

Bob Arum: "Rick Sierra told me he was sensational. He said that his insight was great, he was serious and he had nothing but accolades for Mike as did the foreign people I've spoken with so maybe we've got a future career for him."

Jeff Fenech's lawyer is seeking to downgrade a stealing charge against the former world boxing champion.

Dressed in black, Fenech, 42, gave the obligatory "I love youse all" line to the media before walking into Southport Magistrates Court to face a charge of stealing.

Fenech, who has pleaded not guilty, will face court again on August 16.

"It's been a long day," Fenech told reporters before speeding away in a black Mercedes Benz.

He saw Calvin Brock (29-0, 22 KOs) keep his unbeaten recond intact with a twelve round unanimous decision over previously unbeaten Timur Ibragimov (21-1-1, 13 KOs)

NewsWednesday 21 June Mike Tyson attended the premiere of Warner Bros. "Superman Returns" Afterparty.

The world premiere was held at Mann Theater in Westwood. Also among those attending were Shaquille O'Neal, mega-Superman fan, the star of Steel and fresh off an NBA title with the Miami Heat; X-Men cast members Anna Paquin and Shawn Ashmore; Smallville's Michael Rosenbaum; and Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman's Dean Cain.

The after-party was held in a field, where attendees parked under trees illuminated with strobes of Kryptonite-green lighting.
Nearby, new Lex Luthor Kevin Spacey took a photo with Mike Tyson.
